Subordinate Councils: Your council’s site will feature the following:

Councils will have total control / administration over the following content:

- Officers (and if desired, photos, links to e-mail addresses, homepages, etc.)
- Service (annual programs, etc.)
- Membership (Who can become a member, Benefits of membership, etc.)

All sites include a Content Management System (CMS), a proprietary database system that enables each council’s administrator to fill in special graphical templates in order to customize and update his council’s site. The administrator can add, modify, or delete articles, lists, and calendar events. After a modification, the website would automatically produce the necessary files and update the site. The CMS itself is password-protected to prevent misuse by non-authorized users. The system is backed up nightly and is installed on two servers, one here in the USA and the other in Germany.
